School News
This coming week is very active for Saint Anthony Catholic School Administration. We will be attending an in-service given by Broward County Public Schools. The topic is bullying. Our state has passed some new laws that require schools to address bullying in a very active way. We will be learning about these laws and how they apply to our school. At Saint Anthony Catholic school we are committed to our mission statement: Saint Anthony Catholic School provides a safe, nurturing, educationally challenging environment, built upon the Catholic principles of prayer community, and service. Another in-service will be given by the Archdiocese. The topic of this one is how we can better include students with learning differences in our schools. If we are to truly, “teach as Jesus did,” we must do a better job of reaching out to serve as many students with learning differences as we possibly can.
Contact Ms. Kramer or Ms. Williams if you would like your child to attend Saint Anthony Catholic School. We have some openings in kindergarten, third grade, fourth grade, and sixth grade. We would love to give you a tour of our school. Our number is 954-467-7747.

Your Fort Lauderdale Respect Life Office needs your support. We are always in need of cribs, car-seats, strollers and all baby necessities. Our moms and babies appreciate your thoughtful generosity.
Respect Life Sunday will be held on Sunday, October 26th, 2008
October 19 is Mission Sunday throughout the Archdiocese of Miami. Everyone is encouraged to be part of the mission story today, living out their Baptismal call to be missionaries through their prayers and support. Today, the young churches of Asia, Africa, the Pacific Islands and remote regions of Latin America count on our help to build churches, chapels and schools, to educate young men for the priesthood and young men and women for Religious life, to provide for the work of Religious Communities among the poor and suffering. The second collection today will be taken for Mission Sunday. Thank you for your generosity.
