Weekly Cenacle Rosary Gathering

Mary Mother Guardian of the Faith” Weekly Virtual Rosary and Prayer Meeting

All parishioners are invited every Wednesday evening to a virtual gathering to pray the Rosary and meditate, through the ancient prayer form of lectio divina, on that day’s gospel.  We gather online starting at 7:15p.m. for about an hour.  Our weekly virtual “Cenacle” was instituted at St. Anthony in 2013 as a result of the advocation “Mary Mother Guardian of the Faith” being introduced to our parish by Patricia Talbot from Ecuador (see the Archdiocese of Miami article here).  Currently there are 160 of these cenacles worldwide.  For more information please contact: Jim Carlson, 954-299-2827 or by mail: jdcdc23a@gmail.com.

Still looking for a Lenten opportunity?  You are invited to Join the St Anthony Cenacle Ministry online!  We meet over GoogleMeet for about an hour on Wednesdays at 7:15pm. We read and discuss the day’s gospel, and recite the Rosary.  Just enter https://meet.google.com/fxo-isim-xmp into your browser, or call Jim Carlson at 954-299-2827 for more information.

National Eucharistic Revival.  In the celebration of the Eucharist, bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit and the instrumentality of the priest. The whole Christ is truly present — body, blood, soul, and divinity — under the appearances of bread and wine, the glorified Christ who rose from the dead. This is what the Church means when she speaks of the “Real Presence” of Christ in the Eucharist.  The National Eucharistic Revival is an effort to remind the faithful of this central tenet of our Catholic faith.  We’re building a team to spearhead the National Eucharistic Revival for our parish.  Interested?  Contact Jim Carlson at jdcdc23a@gmail.com, or 954-299-2827 for more information.
