Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion is a ministry which provides those who are homebound and unable to come to Mass the opportunity to receive Holy Communion where they are in residence. This ministry also provides the parish with assistance in bringing Holy Communion to those who are gathered for Mass in Church. The process for embracing this ministry is facilitated through the pastor. A letter of recommendation, an Archdiocesan training workshop and parish orientation session are the steps in the process.
