Beliefs and Goals

Saint Anthony Catholic School has identified the beliefs and goals that we strongly support. They are as follows:

Beliefs:

• Educating the whole child – spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally and physically

• Achieving excellence • High expectations that yield higher results • An inclusive environment

• A partnership among faculty, staff and parents

• Creating an atmosphere inspired by the Holy Spirit through worship, celebrating the sacraments, setting a good example, and providing materials in accordance with the Catholic catechism

• Meeting the needs of each child by identifying individual differences, accepting unique abilities, and recognizing varied learning styles

• Creating an atmosphere where citizenship is paramount – in a parish, a neighborhood, a country, and the world

• Providing every child with the opportunity for a Catholic education regardless of financial resources

Goal Two: To ensure an environment that promotes a child’s highest academic potential

Goal Three: To ensure that Saint Anthony Catholic School has the finest faculty and staff

Goal Four: To ensure Saint Anthony Catholic School’s financial strength and viability by securing financial commitment from school families, parish and community

Goal Five: To ensure that students, faculty, and staff have a safe and healthy state-ofthe-art environment in which to work, learn and grow

Goal Six: To increase the involvement of the Saint Anthony parish and a community for continued support of our school and its history
